Early Life and Education

Jacqueline Fernandez was born on August 11, 1985, in Manama, Bahrain to Sri Lankan parents. She spent most of her childhood in Bahrain, where she completed her early education at the Bahrain School. Later, she pursued a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Sydney in Australia. During her college days, she worked as a television presenter and journalist.

Career

After completing her education, Jacqueline moved to Sri Lanka, where she started her career as a television reporter. She then landed a modeling contract with a leading agency and began appearing in advertisements and music videos. Her beauty and charm soon caught the attention of the judges at the Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant, where she was crowned the winner in 2006

In 2009, Jacqueline made her Bollywood debut with the film Aladin, where she starred opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh.
